DJ Euphonik - real name Themba Nkosi - took to Twitter on Sunday May 1 to publicly shame his ex-girlfriend Bonang Matheba.

The DJ went on a sexist seven-tweet rant in which he threw shade at Bonang, calling her “Hlanyo” (crazy), and a slut, and also claiming that he made her.

In the process of insulting his ex, his last tweet extended the insult to everyone, with the word “Nonke”.

The tweets trended across all social media, with people asking who exactly does “Nonke” include.

Thriving on the popularity of hisTwitter rant dubbed “Euphonik’s seven commandments” on Facebook, the DJ posted a sample of a T-shirt with the word “#NONKE” printed on it. He said the item woud be available for purchase soon.

He captioned the picture, “Got the first sample today Coming soon to @DebutStore #Nonke #NonkeGear Spot the capitalist “

The comments implied that his followers were not amused at the idea of Euphonik insulting them, and then attempting to capitalise on it.
