London - Joe Jonas says Taylor Swift's new song isn't about their relationship.
The Jonas Brothers singer - who alluded to splitting from the 22-year-old star in a 2008 MySpace post - is adamant that the tune, which is about a couple who can't stay broken up, is not based on him.
He said about the track titled: 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together': "I don't think we've ever tried [to get back together] another time, so I can tell you it's not about me."
The 23-year-old singer said during an interview posted on Wednesday (15.08.12) with Washington, D.C.'s 94.7 Fresh FM radio: "That said, I think the song is great. Taylor does pop music really well and I'm happy for her."
Joe, who said he and his ex keep in touch "as much as we can," is such a big fan of her music that he's even gone to see her perform.
He said: "I haven't really spoken to her recently, but I was able to go to her concert last year, and her show live is so phenomenal. I would say anybody should go see it if they haven't had a chance." Bang Showbiz
