Oprah Winfrey is insecure and so ugly, she would have been forced to work the fields during slavery. So says actress Rae Dawn Chong, who appeared alongside Winfrey in Steven Spielberg’s critically-acclaimed “The Color Purple”.

In a recent radio interview, Chong launched an astonishing attack on the world’s favourite talk show host, claiming that Oprah was a “total b***h”. According to Chong, their relationship got off to a great start on the set of “The Colour Purple”, but once the shooting had wrapped and Chong landed a role in the film Commando, Oprah’s attitude changed.

“I starred in Commando. And she just wasn’t having me. She’s competitive. She didn’t like me. She just wasn’t having me,” said Chong.

The feeling is clearly mutual. Warming to her topic, Chong then took aim at Oprah in a rant lasting several minutes.

“If you look at the way [Oprah] looks, she looks like 60 years ago she would have been a house keeper luckily. She would have not been a house n**ger she would have been a field n**ger.

“Shes so enormously insecure. If you wanna distill Oprah Winfrey down to like her most basic components. She wants to be beautiful.

“Imagine being [Oprah]. She has all of the world. All the power in the world … and she only wants something that is only chemical, purely impossible.

“The thing that’s really great about Oprah that you cant take away from her is that she’s a great brown-noser.

“No matter how vile she is, you kinda gotta go, ‘hello hats off’ like, you’ve done an amazing thing you have actually shifted the DNA of the universe.” - IOL
