London - Steven Seagal owes over $330 000 in taxes.

The action film star has been hit with a tax lien by the Los Angeles County Recorder's Office for $335,606, which he owes for the year 2010, according to website TMZ.

The star has been appearing in lower budget films in recent years, including 'Machete' and 'Born to Raise Hell' as well as the TV series 'Steven Seagal: Lawman' and 'True Justice'.

Although he has a lower profile than his 80s and 90s action star heyday - when he appeared in the hugely popular 'Under Siege' and 'Hard to Kill' - Steven has been named as a possible addition to a third film in Sylvester Stallone's successful 'The Expendables' series. However, one of the stars of the second film, Jean Claude Van Damme thinks he needs to get in shape.

He said: "I would love to see Steven Seagal in part three, but he should lose some weight, joking aside, so he could be a little more fast.

"I've met the guy a few times, he's a nice guy. He doesn't like me much, I like him a lot. He's got good charisma, something special on the screen. I would love to see him there."

When asked why Steven doesn't like him, Jean Claude replied: "Because I'm good." - Bang Showbiz
