Higgo has been turning heads with his startling collaborations and contemporary ideas. Combining influences, he has created a fresh new vibe in the new age music market. 

The young South African artist from Stellenbosch, Cape Town, released his first album called "Journey" in 2017 at the age of 17. 

Devoted to his newfound career, he signed with the Ginger Rock International flagship including media house Gigi- R and booking agent Gin- B in collaboration with BoomStomp Rock.

In April 2018, Higgo released his new single "Motormouth" from his second album "Authentic," pulling crowds all over South Africa and placing him in the top 10 spots on radio stations abroad. This created opportunities to share the stage with some top South African artists like Francois van Coke and Jasper Dan.

In September 2018, his collaboration with Jaydene Marais showcased a different side of Higgo. The single "Tell Me So" was one of 2018's highlights, but the fun didn't stop there. Higgo also released his extended play (EP) "Misconceptions" that month. The EP features three songs, including "Help My Maar", his first Afrikaans song.

Higgo steers his own ship when it comes to songwriting. Composing comes naturally to the young and upcoming artist, who made sure that 2019 started on a high note as he released yet another single, "Friction", that soon trended on music platforms like Spotify.  

 

Higgo takes great pride in his crowd interaction and has shown himself to be engaging and an all-round crowd-pleaser, no matter where he performs. 

The artist's new release, in collaboration with Daniel Byron, will hit platforms in 5 July  No doubt 2019 will continue to hold amazing prospects for the vibrant young artist.
