Media personality Thando Thabethe revealed on Saturday that she is engaged.
The Generations the Legacy actress took to social media to share the exciting news, also posting a picture of a gorgeous diamond ring.
Speaking on her afternoon drive show, the 5 FM presenter said her engagement happened when she was in Ibiza, Spain last week.
“It was Thursday in Ibiza. So obviously I was there for work and I don’t think he had planned to do it but we had a moment just him and it was a very deep conversation, and I guess he felt it was the right time.
"So then he went down on his knee and then he said “will you marry me”. But he didn’t have a ring ‘cause we were all the way in Ibiza, it wasn’t something he planned”.
Thando said she only got her ring when they got back to South Africa and it's custom made.
“And then we come back and he tells me that as soon as we landed he went and got the ring designed, so there is no ring like this in the world”.
The ring is engraved 'love you boo boo,” Thando revealed.
Thando and Frans have been together for about five years. Thando said the wedding date has not been set, lobola negotiations are underway.
