• The Mindy Project, M-Net Series, 19.30

Mindy Lahiri can quote every romantic comedy starring Meg Ryan. She loves the good ones and the bad ones, because the girl always gets the guy. Mindy is determined to be more punctual, spend less money, lose weight and read more books – all in pursuit of becoming a well-rounded perfect woman who can meet and date the perfect guy.

Courtney accepts an awkward double date invitation from Matt. The chemistry between Glenn and his ex heats up, even as she plans to return to San Francisco. At Matt’s charity event, things get heated when he offers six-years-sober Drew a cocktail.

• Twincredibles, BBC Knowledge, 21.00

There’s only a slim chance that black and white parents will have twins of different skin colour. Twincredibles follows five sets of twins, from toddlers through to adults, and reveals a surprising and compelling story about the journey of mixed-race Britain.

• Baggage, Sony Entertainment Television, 21.20

A dating game in which would-be lovebirds’ dirty laundry is exposed before the relationship begins. Jerry Springer gets contestants to reveal their intimate secrets and embarrassing flaws upfront while trying to impress a potential partner. Three contestants each carry three suitcases on stage, each containing a bizarre, sensational or humiliating revelation about themselves. These can range from “I share a bed with my grandmother” to “I play video games for 30 hours a week”. At the end of the show, we learn if a date accepts a suitor’s “baggage” – or not.
