Zone In: Eminem, Channel O, 19.00

With the Eminem Rapture Tour just days away, and his album The Marshall Mathers LP 2 regaining his fans and impressing the critics, there is every reason to believe this is going to be a big year for Eminem. Zone-In puts the rapper’s body of video work in the spotlight.

 

Head to Head, Al Jazeera, 20.00

Host Mehdi Hasan (political editor of the Huffington Post) goes head-to-head with leading international figures and is joined by an expert panel on the chosen topic who add their thoughts, opinions and questions. With subjects such as Freedom Fighter or Terrorist? and Do Arab Men Hate Women?, the debates are lively and informative.

 

End of Watch, M-Net Movies Premiere, 20.30

Mike and Brian, two cops in Los Angeles, take on ruthless gangs and bring drug and human trafficking rings to justice. But when a Mexican cartel orders their deaths, they must do everything they can to evade their murderous reach. Complicating matters are internal squabbles in the ranks of the LAPD and the fact that Mike’s wife is pregnant.

 

True Detective, M-Net, 21.30

A hidden image at the burnt-out church leads Cohle and Hart to Joel Theriot, a tent-revival minister whose parishioners finger a scarred “tall man” seen in the company of Dora Lange. Brought in for interrogation, a sex offender matching his description is quickly dismissed by Cohle, despite the suspect confessing. Hart is sidetracked after Maggie sets up Cohle with a friend at a bar. Looking to establish a pattern of murder, Cohle goes over old case files, finding a connection with a woman assumed to have drowned years earlier.
