Joe vs The Volcano, M-Net Movies Comedy, 19.00

A man who learns that he is dying decides to end it all by throwing himself into a volcano on a tropical island. But along the way, he learns the value of truly living.

Mortal Thoughts, Sony Entertainment Television, 20.00

Disturbing drama starring Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, who were married at the time of filming. When a good-for-nothing man is murdered, suspicion is cast on his wife and her best friend. Harvey Keitel plays the detective who tries to get to the bottom of the killing. Told through flashbacks, the fragments form a dark picture of domestic violence and its possible consequences.

Brewster’s Millions, TCM, 21.00

Brewster is a minor league baseball player. Unknown to him, he had a (recently dead) rich relative. In order to test if Brewster knows the value of money, he is given the task of disposing of $30 million in 30 days. Brewster isn’t allowed to have any assets to show for the $30m or waste the money in any way. If successful, he inherits $300m. The biggest problem, however, is that Brewster can’t tell anyone what he’s doing.

Giuliana Rancic, George Kotsiopoulos and Kelly Osbourne are joined by comedienne Joan Rivers for a special episode focusing on the trends and styles on the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
