Sunday's episode of 'Idols SA' season 14 guest judge Dr Malinga was the real star of the show.

The 'Via Orlando'   hitmaker was invited to the Pretoria auditions as a guest judge and was a total hit with tweeps.

Not only did he bring along his famous dance moves but his comments proved to be equally hilarious, which prompted some tweeps to advocate that he be the fourth judge on the panel permanently.

NEW DANCE ALERT! 🤣 What are we calling this one? @DrMalinga #IdolsSA https://t.co/EO0NN2DLKL pic.twitter.com/0xwOfMVTxV

. @DrMalinga playing Sisa's HYPE MAN is everything we needed to see tonight! 🤣🤣🤣 As Host and Exec Producer for #IdolsSA, @ProverbMusic can't make/influence the Judges' decisions but was Sisa good enough? https://t.co/Zfxp2aL4M1 pic.twitter.com/DjTLYxONHh

The show was full of hilarious moments with Proverb dishing out the Idols rules on anything he deemed important including funky stage names, the air horn that was blown at random and the returning jokester of season 13 Fororo singer Lucky Xaba.

@IdolsSA @ProVerbMusic Rules is rules..., Best show so far for 2018 #idolssa

Unathi's face says it all! Lucky has done it again and by "it" we mean, "traumatise our poor Judges!" #IdolsSA https://t.co/iYttRhfcOK pic.twitter.com/FdL5514mzE

Speaking of returnees, it is no secret that Randal dislikes those who return to the show and so he put a twist to it by inviting all those back for round two, or five, to audition all at once.

One of the five that returned included season 13's Blessed who managed to make it to the top 16.

All 5 returnees managed to bag themselves golden tickets.  A dramatic twist it was. Dr Malinga said, "The returnees return."

You could cut the tension in that room with a knife but all the returnees managed to keep their composure. Everyone's headed to Theatre Week! https://t.co/3bA1klr0G6 #IdolsSA pic.twitter.com/Hwwnk8svQl

However. the start of this audition round was off to a slow start, and it took 18-year-old Ntokozo Makhathini from Witbank to open up the floodgates of golden tickets on the first of the day.

Interesting fact about Ntokozo is that she lives right next door to where season nine winner Musa Sukwene lived before winning the show.

The Musa energy did not stop there, with 24-year-old Gina Dale also coming to audition, after being part of Musa's choir during the choir themed week on Idols.

Fun, bubbly and beautiful with phenomenal vocal control to boot. Ntokozo is the total package! #IdolsSA Full clip here: https://t.co/qYVoA8j2BY pic.twitter.com/RKUvRSOV7t

Both ladies got themselves the golden pass and it seems the duo will always have Musa's tag tied to their names. No pressure right?

This week, the Telkom bus went to Port-Elizabeth for their chance for the pop up auditions.

The Eastern Cape managed to secure three golden tickets. Pretoria, on the other hand, managed to bag 24 golden tickets.

Next week, gospel legend Dr Rebecca Malope will be the guest judge in the Joburg auditions.
