London - Lindsay Lohan has wished her half-sister "good luck" with their father.

The 'Liz and Dick' actress - who has a strained relationship with Michael Lohan - thinks 17-year-old Ashley Horn will need help in maintaining a healthy bond with the showbiz patriarch, who was recently revealed to be her real dad.

Lindsay said: "I guess I could give her one word of advice - good luck with my dad."

When she was quizzed on her decision not to speak with her father any more, Lindsay simply added: "It is what it is."

The 26-year-old actress - who began modelling when she was three years old and started acting at 10 - also admitted she still feels "like a kid" and admitted that while she has had her difficulties, some time out from her career helped her get back on track.

Lindsay - who has endured several stints in rehab and numerous legal problems in recent years - told TV talk show host Jay Leno: "I think that there was a point in my life when - it was more recent than earlier on - but I'm kind of still a kid, like, in a way. I'm 26.

"I think I had to step back and kind of take myself out of everything and kind of get my head straight and kind of focus on what it is I wanted to do...You know, you get caught up in everything. It's important to kind of find yourself and keep yourself through that." - Bang Showbiz
