Looking for something new to watch on Netflix this weekend? Why not try one of these “wild card” shows. They probably wouldn’t ordinarily have made it onto your list of shows to pick when you settle in for a binge fest but when you suddenly find yourself on episode 5 you’ll thank us for the heads up.

Here are our wild card picks now streaming on Netflix:

Busted

A hilarious panel of Korean entertainment icons team up with some of the biggest names in K-Drama in this madcap whodunit variety show. More “Keystone Cops” than “Sherlock Holmes," each episode sees our cast of bumbling detectives solve a different mystery based on vignettes presented by famous Korean actors and comedians. An overarching plot unfolds throughout the series, and the tension mounts as the panel edges closer to the awful truth.

The Rain

The world as we know it has ended. Six years after a brutal virus carried by the rain wipes out almost all humans in Scandinavia, two Danish siblings emerge from the safety of their bunker to find all remnants of civilisation gone.

Soon they join a group of young survivors and together set out on a danger-filled quest through an abandoned Scandinavia, searching for any sign of life.

The Who Was Show

Fresh faces bring some of the most famous names in history to life. A live-action sketch comedy show based on the series of best-selling books.

I am Not an Easy Man

A shameless chauvinist gets a taste of his own medicine when he wakes up in a world dominated by women and lock horns with a powerful female author.

A Little Help with Carol Burnett

Carol Burnett is back. In this funny and endearing series, she will be joined by a group of the most honest and unfiltered people in the world – a gaggle of straight talking, entertaining 5-9 year old kids. These very opinionated “experts” weigh-in on a variety of relatable and humorous dilemmas brought in by everyday adults.

Money Heist

Eight thieves take hostages and lock themselves in the Royal Mint of Spain as a criminal mastermind manipulates the police to carry out his plan.
