In a world behind high walls and luxury, the wealthy may believe they are powerful in the comfort of their mansions, but it is the housekeepers who see all and know all.

The tables will turn in Mzansi Magic's new drama centred around the journey of a devoted daughter who goes out seeking the truth when her loved one is framed for murder.

Come October, viewers will meet Linda Ndlovu played by Thando Thabethe, who hides her identity behind an apron as she assumes the role of a housekeeper in an attempt to bring the Zwide Family to justice.

"Housekeepers" is a dramatic thriller packed with grit and suspense set against the backdrop of the sophisticated Fourways and the vibrant Diepsloot.

A chain of events unfolds, widening the world of the Housekeepers while viewers are taken on a journey of discovery. They learn about the secrets that bind the Zwide family and the people that hold the keys to their freedom as they make their beds every morning; keep their homes clean and are the invisible souls that know their employers’ sins.

“We are excited to be able to tell a story of the voiceless and sometimes overlooked beings, yet they run the households of those with financial power and social stature.

"Housekeepers" is an exploration of the class dynamics that exist in our society. As Mzansi Magic, we wanted to go into the unfamiliar territory which is not foreign to our audiences”, says Reneilwe Sema, Director of Local Entertainment Channels at M-Net.

It's a WRAP. Nothing could have prepared me for this unique experience. Without the cast and crew carefully selected for this series, I doubt we could have executed it as we have. Enjoy your deserved rest brilliant cast & crew. See you on the 8th of Oct. #HousekeepersMzansi pic.twitter.com/n9PAIKCRCA
