Samora Magesi will be joining Sinazo Yolwa has co-host of the SABC1’s celebrity gossip and entertainment show, The Real Goboza (RGB). Samora will officially take over as co-host on RGB from June 9.
Magesi was chosen as co-host after many weeks of auditions.
He was born and raised in Mdantsane, East London, with a BA in Film from AFDA in Cape Town. And is well known on South African television screens for his spicy personality on one of South Africa’s biggest youth entertainment shows, Hectic Nine 9, where he was able to make the Mzansi viewers fall in love with his charismatic and effervescent personality.
Currently in its 13th season, the show (RGB) has become one of the leading go-to sources for everything glitz, glam and gossip, and a platform for all South Africans to get their weekly dose of entertainment news.
Magesi plans on showcasing his remarkable talents by dazzling the viewers with his flair for being on screen and bringing a new zest to the RGB family.
“Since I started in the television industry six years ago, I have been on SABC 2 and SABC 3. It has been a dream of mine to complete the loop by rounding it off with SABC 1. I’m looking forward to entrenching myself in the hearts of South Africans and growing on the SABC 1 platform.”
