M-Net’s viewer’s will be taken on an adventure over the next five weeks, starting June 3 and ending on July 1.

The Wild Ones, a new and beautifully filmed series will explore behind the scene areas of the magical Two Oceans Aquarium, located at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town.

The never seen before footage of the aquarium's sea-life was filmed over a four month period and the stories that will be shared with viewers over the next five weeks, have never left the Two Ocean Aquarium walls before.

Produced by Homebrew Films in partnership with WWF South Africa and BirdLife South Africa, the family friendly wildlife show deals with a variety of aspects pertaining to the operations of the Aquarium, behind the scenes activities, the animals in the Aquarium, and the people who play a pivotal role in maintaining the Aquarium’s high standards.

“The film crew spent months following our staff around, getting caught up in the stories that were being told, and ultimately becoming part of the Aquarium family. We are incredibly excited about the series and the potential it has of showing viewers the inner workings and the heart of the Aquarium”, said Helen Lockhart, Communications and Sustainability Manager for the Two Oceans Aquarium.

* Catch the five part series, The Wild Ones from June 3 on M-Net on Sundays at 4pm.
