Cape Town - Kuli Roberts, the newspaper columnist who famously insulted coloured people, can’t handle a taste of her own medicine.

She claims she was abused on TV by comedian Trevor Noah.

In the Comedy Central Roast of Steve Hofmeyr, a show in which celebrities are ruthlessly ridiculed by their peers, Kuli was called a nymphomaniac, a cocaine junkie and an alcoholic, and there were also multiple references to her vagina.

“I feel abused,” she tells City Press.

“So much so I’ve decided I’m giving a portion of the money to a woman abuse charity...

“I understand Trevor’s abusive because of his background, but this was personal.”

But Trevor hit back saying: “Kuli has forged a career on roasting celebrities weekly, both in print and on TV.

“For her to now turn around and cry foul is a bit hypocritical.” - Daily Voice
