If you don’t go for the horse racing, then go for the fashion, entertainment and uber-vibe that surrounds the Vodacom Durban July.
A huge part of the entertainment will be happening at the biggest marque at in tent town, the Amstel Boomtown.
This year is bigger and better than any of the previous years because Boomtown is celebrating its 10th birthday at the Vodacom Durban July and to mark the celebration the hottest artists and DJ’s will be setting the main stage on fire.
East Coast Radio’s Drive time presenter, Bongani Mtolo is the MC for the event and is exciting about hosting guests on behalf of the marquee and host partners East Coast Radio.
“I’ve been attending the Vodacom Durban July for the longest time, and everytime I was at Boomtown, so to be hosting this is truly an amazing feeling. The vibe is already in Durban and it’s only going to get better. The lineup is diverse just like the people in the province,” said Bongani.
Opening up celebrations at 11am is East Coast Radio DJs Deon G and Lubz.
Then at 1.45pm Major League will perform, followed by Dreamteam at 2.15pm.
The hottest property in Durban right now, Babes Wodumo, will keep guests entertained from 3pm, followed by Suited singer, Shekhinah.
If that’s not enough for music lovers, then Bongo Maffin plays at 5.30pm followed by HHP at 6.30pm.
At 7.15pm, DJ Sumbody will rock the decks and at 8.30pm, expect to see Shimza and DJ Maphorisa.
And, pulling the curtain down at the end of the night is DJ Da Capo an DJ PH.
