Shimmy Beach Club's 5th Birthday Party

For the last 5 years, Shimmy Beach Club has been a constant feature in Cape Town, providing locals and visitors with some of the best summer parties & sundowners and an idyllic seaside restaurant with an enviable menu. 

In celebration of Shimmy's 5th trip around the sun, Shimmy will once again be hosting the ultimate beach club experience they are known for.

Fashion Breed and Friends Charity Sale

Aqeelah Harron-Ally will be selling over 200 fashion and beauty items, both new and gently used, and will be joined by a few of her favourite local brands, including Minimal Exposure, Lazuli and Know Scrubs. The entry fee of R25 per person and a percentage of all the sales will be donated to Muslim Hands NGO to facilitate the building of a water well to an African community in need. A sanitary towel drive for girls in need will also take place, and attendees are encouraged to bring them along.

The inaugural charity sale, which was held in March earlier this year, raised over R18,000 for Syria, as well as a collection of five bags of clothing for those affected by the Imizamo Yethu fire.

Festive Concert with the Symphony Choir of Cape Town

Enjoy a festive gathering with loved ones on the lawns of Groot Constantia Wine Estate as the Symphony Choir of Cape Town takes you on a musical evening.

Conducted by well-known musical director Alexander Fokkens, the Symphony Choir of Cape Town will be accompanied by a Brass Quintet and Gentlemen’s Ensemble. A few Christmas favorites will also be sung by the Symphony choir members’ children. What better way to get into the holiday spirit than at the Festive Concert with the Symphony Choir of Cape Town?
