Daughtry is returning to South Africa on 25 October 2018 to play at the Grand Arena, GrandWest.

Fronting a band bearing his name, Chris Daughtry, rose to fame in the 5th season of American Idol, has taken the rock and roll world by storm. The band has released some big rock ballads like It’s Not Over. He has become one of the most visible and consistent rock and roll torchbearers of the 21st century.

Over their career, Daughtry has released four albums, all of which reached the Billboard top ten and have combined sales of over 8 million copies in America. Their 2007 album Daughtry was the best-selling album of that year.

Ten years after launching with a massive splash, Chris Daughtry says he and the band have grown the most on stage. “When we first came out, I’d only known what I’d seen,” he says. “I didn’t know how to be vulnerable, with no pretence.

"Now it’s walk onstage and, especially in our acoustic shows, just be flat-out honest and open. It’s really helped me realise that’s actually what fans want — they want 100 percent honesty and feeling like they got to know you better.”

Tickets to Daughtry are on sale from Big Concerts, starting at R375 each.
