After discovering an old friend may have been sired by Spike, Buffy informs the gang that they must keep a close eye on him, in Buffy The Vampire Slayer (M-Net, 5pm).

When Spike manages to go out, he gets put in a mysterious trance and then seduces and kills a girl with the evil morphing entity watching over him.

Meanwhile in England, Giles finds a fellow watcher close to death. While he is finding out what happened, a man with no eyes approaches Giles from behind, and swings an axe at his head....

- Michael Mol presents Top Billing (SABC3, 7.30pm) from a barn-style Franschhoek home.

Michelle Garforth finds out more about the movie, Willard, as she meets its stars and makers. She also meets Patrick Swayze on the set of King Solomon's Mines in Prince Albert.

Also on the show: the home of the SABC's 10 Popstar finalists; diving in the Red Sea; beaded jewellery and handbags; and behind the scenes on a "Party Girls" fashion shoot.

- Jake gets into trouble with Dylan and recovering alcoholic Gavin by pretending that he, too, has a drinking problem, in Good Morning Miami (e.tv, 7.30pm).

Penny is unsure how to react when she discovers that Frank has listed her as his emergency contact.

- Van's father is released from prison but has some difficulty enjoying his freedom while a Nigerian crime lord is still looking for him, in Fastlane (e.tv, 8pm).

It's up to Van, Billie and Deaq to devise a scheme to save Raymond and capture the crime boss.

- One (SABC1, 9pm) takes a look at Justin Timberlake's rise from *N Sync to current superstar status. Kwaito supergroup Chiskop is featured, including footage of last weekend's promo tour to Durban to launch their new album, as well as One News presented by the inimitable Mzekezeke. This includes word from Mapaputsi on the follow-up to his last hit, Izinja.
