Questions about theology, art and a whodunit plot makes this a thinker's delight.
FILM: A curator at the famous Louvre museum in Paris is killed because he holds a secret that some religious leaders don't want revealed.
Robert Langdon, a professor played by Tom Hanks, is called to the scene because he was linked to the curator. Langdon meets the curator's granddaughter (Audrey Tautou), who is a cop, and they try to solve the mystery using the famous paintings of Leonardo da Vinci as a guide.
As they creep closer to a religious secret, more deaths are recorded and soon they're on a hit list. But they're also being chased by a Parisian cop (Jean Reno) who thinks they have blood on their paws. Based on the widely read Dan Brown novel, this film is a masterpiece. It also whets the appetite for strolls down the passages of the Louvre, a European summer, art and historical tales.
FEATURES: The DVD contains an extra 25 minutes that was not included in the big screen version. But who really needs that though?
