If you've come across the names "Nadia Jaftha" or "Saint Champagne Bar and Lounge" in your newsfeed on Thursday or Friday, it's probably because of a birthday party flyer circulating on social media.
Social media influencer Nadia Jaftha was a hot topic after she shared a flyer for her upcoming birthday party on Thurday.

Jaftha plans to celebrate her birthday on 16 November at Saint Champagne Bar and Lounge in Cape Town, and table prices range from R1 500 for a standing table of four, to R15 000 for a sitting table of 12 people.
Social media was left shook by the price tag, with many wondering why anyone would want to pay that kind of money to stand or sit at "an influencer's" birthday party.
Following the social media uproar, Jaftha took to her Instagram stories and explained that these are the normal table prices and that she's not the club owner.
IOL reached out to Saint to ask them what's included in the R15 000 table package.
According to Santa, Saint's marketing and human resource manager, the R15 000 table service charge is standard for VVIP.
In lay person's terms, it's essentially a R15 000 bar tab for up to 12 people. You can, however, make special arrangements to pre-order snacks that will be included, or added to your tab.
This is also applicable to the R1 500 standing table for four. Alternatively, you can pay a normal cover charge and purchase drinks directly from the bar.
