Some of Durban’s very best stand-up comedians will come together this weekend for a naughty but nice Father’s Day special comedy extravaganza.

“Who’s Your Daddy?’ features Bash with Tash, Masood Boomgaard, Kelvin Stoffel, Daryl Williams and Jem Atkins and takes place at the Sibaya iZulu Theatre on June 16 at 8pm.

Audiences will get your hear the best material from KZN’s premium acts as well as their most hilarious daddy stories.

The show also will also be peppered with great gags on everyday stuff like relationships, the economy, politics and social media.

Bash with Tash, real name Natashia Portrag, shot to fame in December 2016 when she spontaneously uploaded a comic commentary by herself on Facebook which soared to hundreds of thousands of views. Subsequent videos only heightened her popularity and now she has legions of fans locally and abroad in places like Australia where she will tour in March.

Bash with Tash is best known for her incredible ability to improvise on stage and crowd interaction. Her spontaneity ensures that no two shows are the same.

Fresh from his recent tours of Australia, Dubai and the UK, Durbanite Masood Boomgaard is best known for his unique comedic take on current affairs and trends, tackling a variety of topics from politics and sport to the economy and relationships. He often also uses the stage to reflect on his childhood and experiences growing up in a mixed race family.

Look out for his spot-on impersonations of famous daddies like Jacob Zuma and Donald Trump.

Boomgaard has performed with some of the best in the business across the country and has a few solo shows under his belt. His most recent, “Joker”, has been released on DVD. He also recently appeared on Comedy Central. He recently performed his show “African Indian” on London’s West End and received rave reviews.

Joining him is rising star Daryl Williams, the youngest daddy on the lineup, who is taking SA comedy by storm and making a huge impression amongst the comedy elite. Williams is also the winner of the recent Comekaze national comedy contest.

Kelvin Stoffel is another highlight of the show. The suave, silver fox, father of two is known as the smooth man of comedy for his effortless style of comedy and signature story-telling style.

Expect many laugh out loud moments and he may even “bust a move” or two.

Last and not least, audiences can look forward to the comic stylings of Jem Atkins, veteran comic and star of the hit shows, Single Dad and Single Dad 2. Atkins is sharp witted in his exploration of fatherhood and the hilarity that comes with raising an ever enquiring 10 year old. Expect lots of relatable funny moments.

Who’s Your Daddy takes place on June 16 at Sibaya iZulu Theatre at 8pm.

Tickets are R120 and R150 from Computicket and Sibaya Box Office.
