Comic Con is set to grace the African continent for the first time this September, and one of the biggest announcements after the event reveal was that "Game of Thrones" and "Aquaman" star Jason Momoa.

Taking to their official Twitter account Monday, Comic Con Africa announced that Momoa had to withdraw from the event "due to an unforeseen film schedule change". Adding that the actor expressed his regret, and hopes to attend future events.
