As Africa counts down to the epic end-of-year celebration that is Afro Punk Joburg on Sunday, December 30 and Monday, December 31, show organisers have added legendary performers and global DJs of note to the lineup.
Maskandi master Phuzekhemisi and hip-hop pioneer Ready D are new additions to the AFROPUNK Joburg lineup.
Hip-hop star Kwesta has also been added to the bill.
On the decks this year will be DJ Maphorisa, Anais B, Tygapaw, K-$, Coco Em, Deniece Marz and Phatstoki.
Empangeni-born electronic musician Muzi spends most of his time overseas, but he will be back in SA for AFROPUNK Joburg. Also traveling to SA for the festival are BBZ (Bold Brazen Zamis), a queer curatorial collective and art party from London.
