Media personality turned business woman Nonhle Thema started trending on Tuesday for her old Twitter rants.

In what can only be seen as a lesson to everyone who likes to troll on social media, once you’ve posted something, within seconds someone has screengrabbed or munched your post and it has been saved somewhere perhaps on cloud, and one day when you least expect , someone will remind you #NonhleLessons.

Although she previously apologised for her old ways, tweeps were not backing down.

Career advice from Bonang

Twitter rants from 2011 started re-emerging as the former IT girl was reminded of her arrogance and diva tendencies. In one incident she accused Minnie Dlamini aka Mrs Jones of being a drunkard, in another she bashed the likes of Bonang Matheba and Terry Pheto, saying she felt disrespected for being compared to celebs who rented houses when she bought hers for R2 million. Nonhle was on fire!

Minnie, who recently married her long term beau, is at peak of her career and Bonang, who stars in her own reality show and whose book, Bonang A to B, topped Exclusive Books' best seller list is also at the peak of career, while Nonhle is selling her own perfume on social media.

Minnie also has nearly 2 million Twitter followers and Bonang is leading the pack with over 2.2 million followers, while Nonhle has just over 4 500.

Speaking to Anele Mdoda on Real Talk with Anele earlier this year, Nonhle said she was not ready for the fame.

“I was always pushed, and it was by accident. I never pushed for it, things always used to happen in my life. I never asked for fame, I just wanted to do what I love," she said.

She said that her fame, money and career had become her whole life.

This is what led to her famous Twitter rants, which cost her a career and “a lot of money”, though she said she does not regret any of it.

“I lost a lot of money, it’s fine. I lost a lot of things, it’s fine. But you know what, I gained a lot of things, I gained who Nonhle really is.

“I am now a human being, and I am now humbled because I know life now. I know life is not living in America and interviewing 50 Cent because there was a time when I thought that was life".

In the midst of the Twitter storm, Nonhle tweeted a humbling message” No need to be perfect to inspire people. Let people be inspired by how you deal with imperfections. #NonhleLessons but tweeps were not budging.

Black Twitter then warned Bonang, stating that she is "walking on Nonhle's route".

While the jury is still out on whether Black Twitter forgives, one thing's for sure, it never forgets.
