If you don’t like Bobbi Kristina Brown’s emaciated new look, it’s because “your b**** is a 400 pounder”.

So says Brown’s husband Nick Gordon, who launched an attack on Twitter critics who said his wife had lost too much weight.

The daughter of the late Whitney Houston and R&B bad boy Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina had recently posted a picture of herself poolside in a black bikini. She and her husband, however, were soon on the defensive as posters commented negatively about how thin she was.

“I gotta bad b**** (sic),” boasted Gordon to his more than 17 000 Twitter followers, but when the comments took a turn for the worse, he went on the defensive.

“Working out Eating right and loving life is how my women keeps her body nobody cares that you are concerned what important is she is comfy.

“My baby is perfect the way she is,” he wrote in Bobbi’s defence, before going on the offensive.

“MADD cuz your b**** is a 400 pounder.”

Bobbi, in turn, credited good genes for her lithe frame.

“I am my mothers child ! Have you ever heard of a #fastmetabolism ? Damn, lol it's incredible how the world will judge you 4ANY&EVERYthing,” she wrote.

Nick and Bobbi announced their marriage via Twitter in January. The union was controversial because the couple had lived as brother and sister for over a decade.

Whitney Houston took Gordon under her wing when he was just 12 because his father had been sent to prison and his mother was unable to care for him.

Meanwhile, it appears Bobby Brown didn't know his daughter Bobbi Kristina was married.

Bobby was quizzed on the wedding and told gossip website TMZ: "No, she didn't get married." He added: "If she says she is. I don't know about it."

Bobbi and Nick hope to prove the sceptics wrong and plan to celebrate their commitment to one another for a second time with a big wedding later this year.

Bobbi previously said: "The criticism of our relationship only made us stronger. It lit a fire under our ass. We are officially married now but our wedding was just very low-key. But I can say that we're planning a big wedding later this year.

"It's going to be very royal, classic and beautiful - just a phenomenal ceremony. We're going for the full fairytale." - Tonight Reporter
