Durban - Nigerian-born jazz artist, composer and music producer Solomon Willy will perform at the Luthuli Museum in Groutville on February 2. The doors open at 6pm, tickets are R30 at the door.

Willy and his band are offer original compositions and an extensive mix of popular, African music and jazz standards, led by a jazz guitar and smooth vocals.

 “We are bringing some of the best afro-beat and jazz music to Groutville. You can expect some Fela Kuti and more. Not to be missed.” Says Willy.

The Luthuli Museum, is a national cultural institution charged with conserving, upholding, promoting and propagating the life, values, philosophies and legacy of the late Chief Albert Luthuli. This concert closes off the year marking 50 Years since Luthuli died and provides a look forward to the Museum programme for the year. 

This concert is part of the Concerts SA Venue Circuit that aims to foster a love and support for live music in our communities.
