#MyHeart goes out to my brother from another mother
For the month of February, IOL is inviting our readers to tell us who they love and why to stand a chance of winning amazing prizes in our #MyHeart competition.
Our next winner is Achumile Ngantweni, who submitted the following entry:
My BFF Ndyebo Lupondo - my therapist, public relations officer, my bodyguard, my strategic problem solver and my brother from another mother.
He'd be there as a cardiologist whenever I have heartaches. He would be there whenever I need him to help. Regardless of what he does at work, he still maintains the position of being my best friend forever and my brother.
The best friend forever description is endless because he never expects a 13th cheque, salary increase or anything for helping me out. He knows my ins and outs, left right and center. He keeps me collected at all times and I sometimes feel like he is beyond just the best friend but more like a father figure to me.
I wish everyone out there had the same person they call BFF to be like mine. I will always owe him big time, endlessly. I always talk to God to keep him for me and my family until we grow up and enjoy double dates with our wives.
How to enter our #MyHeart competition:
Tell us who you love and why. The IOL team is passionate about news for the heart of South Africa and we want to hear about who holds your heart. Whether it's the love of your life, your BFF, your cat, your mom, your boss or your second-removed cousin on your grandmother's side, we want to know why you appreciate them so much.
If you are our pick for the best story of the day, you will win one of our amazing prizes and be entered into our grand prize draw sponsored by Protea Hotels by Marriott.
So send an email to [email protected] telling us your #MyHeart story.
