In February, IOL spread the love with our #MyHeart competition where we asked readers to send a shout out to their loved ones to stand a chance of winning some amazing prizes.
Whether it's the love of your life, your BFF, your dog, your cat, your mom, your boss or your second-removed cousin on your grandmother's side, we wanted to know why you appreciate them so much.
Here's one of our winning entries from Moloko Mafokoane, who has won two bottles of Strawberry Lips.
My shout out goes to my BFF Laura. She has been the most amazing friend ever. We met 16 years ago at our campus gym and we've been tight since that day. Although studying towards different qualifications, we became friends and together enjoyed gym, jogging, early morning before class rollerblading and even being travel buddies.
She has been even more amazing over the past four years when I've been studying full time, in a different province. She has been cheering me on from the beginning until the very end. She would help me study and remember my notes over WhatsApp during exam time, oh man. She has always made sure that I don't forget to live especially when I was seeing flames academically.
I can honestly hope that I've been as equally a great friend and a sister as she has been to me. She is #MyHeart and I love her to bits.
