Having your child carried by another person has become commonplace in Hollywood.

Celebrities like Kim and Kanye West, and now most recently, Robbie Williams and Ayda Field, have welcomed their bundle of joy via surrogate, dispelling the taboos surrounding conception and infertility.

Here’s a look at other couples that have taken to using the procedure.

Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black

Earlier this year Olympic diver Tom Daley and husband Dustin Lance Black announced they were expecting a baby via surrogate. They welcomed their son Robert into the world on Valentine’s Day. Now the couple are fierce campaigners against the UK’s strict surrogacy laws working against same-sex unions.

Both Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge were born via surrogate in June 2009. “I’ve had a lot of opportunities to do the things that I wanted to do, like sleep,” Parker (53) told Vogue of becoming a mother later in life.

Robbie Williams and Ayda Field kept the birth of their third child a secret, and only announced Colette (Coco) Josephine Williams’s arrival on Instagram. Picture: Instagram

Tyra Banks

Former model Tyra Banks used a gestational surrogate to carry son York. He was born in January 2016. “As I gaze into the beautiful eyes of my son, I think about all the people who struggle with fertility or carrying a child and continue to pray for them every day,” she told People magazine.
