Zara Tindall has given birth to a baby boy.

The 39-year-old Olympian - who is the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth - gave birth at home on Sunday, and her husband Mike Tindall has revealed they're "still working" on a name for their newborn.

Appearing on 'The Good, The Bad and The Rugby' podcast, Mike shared: "Sunday got even better because a little baby boy arrived at my house! Yeah brilliant, six o'clock last night.

"We haven't got a name yet, we're still working on it, we always struggle with that, we've never picked one before they arrived.

"8lb 4oz, very bonny. Arrived very quickly, didn't make it to hospital, on the bathroom floor!"

Mike, 42 - who also has Mia, seven, and Lena, two, with Zara - revealed that one of his wife's close friends played an instrumental role in the birth.

The former England rugby star - who married Zara back in 2011 - explained: "Fortunately Zara's friend Dolly is ... she's actually more important than I am at making sure she's been at all three of my children's births.

"She was there and recognised that we wouldn't have got to the hospital in time, so it was run into the gym, get a mat, get into the bathroom, towels down, brace brace brace!"

In December 2016, the couple revealed they had suffered a miscarriage and two years later, Zara admitted to suffering a second miscarriage before falling pregnant with Lena.

Zara - who won a silver medal at the London Olympics in 2012 - revealed that the circumstances surrounding her first miscarriage were "really rare".

Zara previously said: "In our case, it was something that was really rare; it was nature saying, 'This one's not right.'"
