London - With a new film coming out and six children to look after, you wouldn’t think Angelina Jolie was short of company.
But the 42-year-old still appears to be struggling following her split from Brad Pitt, admitting she does "not enjoy being single", as there is "nothing nice about it".
Jolie posed with all her children at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado over the weekend. Her new film – First They Killed My Father – which she directed, was being screened at the festival.
The Oscar winner said that whilst she might look like she is "pulling it together", she is just trying to "get through my days". Miss Jolie, who separated from Pitt last year, was pictured alongside Maddox, 16, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and nine-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

She said: "I don’t enjoy being single. It’s not something I wanted. There’s nothing nice about it. It’s just hard.
"I’m a little shy because I think that I’m not as strong inside as I have been in the past. So sometimes it maybe appears that I’m pulling it all together but really I’m just trying to get through my days. Emotionally it’s been a very difficult year."
Jolie filed for divorce last September amid accusations that Pitt had alcohol and drug problems, though recent reports have suggested the pair may be trying to re-kindle their relationship.
