It's something most pet owners can relate to: you've just bought a pair of shoes, only to find bite marks all over it when you want to wear them. And then you realise that the perpetrator is probably lurking somewhere around the house - or the yard.
From feigning complete indifference to playing dead, our pet pooches never really admit to doing wrong when your TV remote goes missing or there's scuff marks against the wall.
But their reactions sometimes take us by surprise. And although we try to be angry, it doesn't last for long.
Now Facebook channel Funniest Family Moments have created a video called Guilty Dogs - Funny Dogs Compilation. It's a collection of videos that will having you laughing out loud, or crying into your coffee.
Even some of the comments can't help but share some of their stories....
One comment said: "We had a dog that put himself in time out. If we came home and he was in the corner we knew he had done something wrong."
While another commented: "My cat will purposely track his poop in bed just so I have to clean it up."
