A video has surfaced on social media of a French priest slapping a crying baby while he is trying to baptize the tot.
The horrified parents are at first worried when the priest holds the baby in a vice-like grip to stop him from wailing. But he soon loses his temper and hits the child in the face.
The Daily Mail quickly got wind of the video, but it's not known when the footage was filmed, just that it was captured in a church where the ceremony was conducted in French.
