London - With the due date for her second child approaching, Natalie Portman was positively blooming when she took a stroll in Los Angeles at the weekend.
The 35-year-old actress, wearing a floral dress, trench coat and flip-flops, was joined by her husband Benjamin Millepied and son Aleph, five. Despite the impending new arrival, awards season has kept Miss Portman on her feet, most recently with an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel’s US chat show.
Miss Portman, who won an Oscar for her performance in Black Swan in 2010, has another best actress nomination for her role as Jackie Kennedy in Jackie.
The actress told this week’s OK! magazine that she no longer had to audition for roles. She said: "I am very, very lucky that I don’t usually have to [audition].
"But there is a down side to that too, because people tend to think they know what I can or can’t do.
"Choosing projects, I’m impulsive. A lot depends on the character, the script, the director."
