The flavours of Africa are on display today at the Artscape Theatre in celebration of #AfricaDay in Cape Town.
It's open to the public, so all are welcome to get a taste of the delicacies from the continent.
Organisers have enticed us by inviting everyone to "delight in some of the most popular African dishes, including the succulent, Mozambican Galinha à Zambeziana (a feast of chicken cooked with lime, pepper, garlic, coconut milk and piri piri sauce); mouth-watering chicken muamba from Angola and Namibian Harslag among others."
Of course it will also be a celebration of the foundation of the African Union — these festivities at the Artscape Theatre are also in partnership with the Department of the Premier and the Western Cape.
This event is will start at 12:30 and comprises of both a food tasting and networking session
