True to it’s roots as a beer fest, there are numerous brews on offer at the Stellenbosch Craft Beer Festival that will satisfy the tastebuds of connoisseurs to the weekend beer drinker.

There are 20 breweries pouring their beer at the festival and quite a few of them are making some great beers.

First up though if you are going to the festival then you can ease your way into the beer line-up by trying a great cider. There are many light beers on offer and then of course beers with more than 10 percent alcohol to pack a real punch.

This year the entertainment line-up is also a stand out. Performances by Chico Muya Music, Opposite The Other, Lonely Dave Ferguson, Rumswinger and Spoegwolf will keep the crowds entertained and there is a Comedy Hour ft. Melt Sieberhagen & Friends also to look forward to.

Food is an important element of any festival and you will not be let down with the food being served here. Thai Hut, the Captain Blackbeer'd Food Truck, Scandalous Food Truck

Love Pizza, The MacFactory and the Boulevard 82 Food Truck will be there.

The festival takes place at the beautiful Jan Marais Nature Reserve so pack a picnic blanket, a camping chair, your sunscreen and sun hat.

Cash is the best way to buy but there will be ATM’s on site. Tickets start at R85 for adults and R60 for children aged 12-17.
