Summer cocktails have to be light, refreshing, vibrant and delicious. For me, a summer cocktail should not only taste good but it should awaken memories of great times with friends and family.

And with the sign of early summer, I guess it's time to head outside and enjoy that cocktail drink but this time with some dash of cognac. I mean cognac is undoubtedly one of the finer things in life; now imagine refreshing it to a very stylish cocktail drink?

Here is fashion designer, David Tlale, who has everything figured out for me and you when it comes to cognac cocktails this summer.

Tlale has recently created his signature festive drink, the Courvoisier Noir which combines a special cognac and champagne with flavours of cinnamon, orange and deep cherry.

So if you would like to try your hand at making your own Courvoisier Noir cognac cocktail by David Tlale, below is the recipe.
