Spring is here and Summer is around the corner, so it's the season for cocktails.

Gin remains a trendy spirit (although rum is hot on it's heels) but now it's time to spice things up.

The botanicals in your gin are already bursting with flavour so adding spiciness wouldn't do any harm.

Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin is a great place to start, it's been traditionally distilled, using the same London Dry Gin method, since 1761. Here the botanicals are married with fine English spirit to produce an exotic oriental spiced gin.

Flavour notes of cumin and cardamom provides a warm earthy background balanced with the grapefruit peel.

Soft camphor, some sweetness and oriental spices create a warm mouth feel that lingers but does not increase in intensity. Long length with soft cracked black pepper and spice.

Try this Red Snapper cocktail to usher in those Summer vibes.

Ingredients

- 50ml Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin

- Tomato Juice

- 4 Dashes Worcestershire Sauce

- 2 Dashes Tabasco Sauce

- Squeeze of Lemon Juice

- Pinch of Salt and Pepper

Method

Add all the ingredients to a shaker, shake, strain and serve.
