La Cité du Vin (The City of Wine) is in the heart of Bordeaux, France and is a wine-lover’s Disneyland!
There are no roller coasters or rides, but there are over 800 varieties of wine from 70 different countries that are a thrill a minute for oenophiles.
Even if you’re just a casual drinker and don’t really overthink the wine you drink, there is definitely still something new to learn or taste at La Cité du Vin that will make the visit worthwhile.
Besides the La Cité du Vin's restaurant, you can order any one of the hundreds of wines available, or browse one of the 20 wine themed exhibits which are neatly divided into different sections.

You can whisk around the world of wine in a matter of minutes and send your taste buds on a once in a lifetime journey.
And if you’re strolling through Bordeaux, you won’t have to search long and hard to for the building because it’s quite eye-catching!
La Cité du Vin is designed to look like the swirl of wine in a wine glass and is a twisted structure made of mostly metal.
