The top six was announced at the Radisson Red Hotel at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.

Challenges during the finals have included the finalists show their speed and skill, needing to make 12 original drinks in 10 minutes.

Down to the top 6 - SA’s bartenders have descended upon the mother city, Cape Town, and competed in the World Class national finals, in a bid to prove that they have the best cocktail making skills behind the bar.

They also had to bring a focus into the drought crisis facing Cape Town, with mixologists designing drinks that would use a maximum of 25mls of water.
