PRIMI Pretoria is situated in the leafy Menlyn Precinct in Waterkloof Glen Shopping Centre

The menu is inspired by classic Italian food but is heavily influenced by the cosmopolitan present with traditional, gourmet and comfort food offerings.

The dynamic, unpretentious atmosphere at PRIMI works for both serious business talk and for social chit chat, and for everything in-between.

The food is a masterful display of culinary simplicity and complexity in perfect harmony. Meals are prepared with the the healthier options of preparation; with ingredients lightly sautéed, seared, grilled, cooked al dente and burgers iron- pressed ensuring the prominence of natural flavours.

“Our menu is diverse and caters to those who appreciate excellence in the delivery of cuisine,” says franchisee Tadzio Magalhaes.

Striving to serve traditional pizza Napoletana, PRIMI uses high protein flour, filtered water, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, desert rock salt, natural yeast and malt.

The 24-hour-matured and hand-stretched pizza base is topped with Italian tomatoes, Fior di Latte and mature mozzarella, and then baked till golden, fragrant and tender-crisp.

“Using the right cooking technique paired with perfect timing, and the simple addition of natural seasoning, brings flavours to the forefront,” says Magalhaes.

“By having keen knowledge of prime ingredients and the traditional art of releasing flavour, the restaurant strives to create real taste.”
