Mother’s Day is fast approaching and there are those mums who really wish they can be treated with some cocktails- preferably one that someone else has made for her and that she can sip, undisturbed, while putting her feet up.
Royal Palm Hotel, Food and Beverage Manager Raven Naicker, says people can celebrate this day with their moms with a strawberry and cream inspired cocktail, he calls: “Pink Lady”.
“This fruity, delightful dessert can be served in a variety of different ways and can be included in breakfast, as a dessert and even as a cocktail”, he said.
Here is how to make the “Pink Lady Cocktail” by Royal Palm Hotel
What you will need: Cervoise Glass
Ingredients
50ml Amarula
25ml Monin strawberry syrup
25ml Cream
25ml Strawberry juice
Ice
Method
Put ice in a blender.
Blend cream ingredients together and then add in the Monin strawberry syrup and strawberry juice and then blend all together until smooth.
Garnish with whipped cream and a fresh strawberry.
Serve chilled!
