Turkey And Apple Sandwiches With Maple Mayonnaise (Makes 4)

1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 teaspoons maple syrup
8 slices rye or whole-wheat bread
230g  turkey or smoked turkey, sliced
1 apple, thinly sliced.


In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise and maple syrup; spread on 4 slices of bread, going all the way to the edges. Top with the turkey and apple slices and then with the remaining bread.

8 slices bread of your choice
2 tablespoons butter, softened
2 tablespoons orange marmalade
170 thinly sliced Cheddar cheese
1 cup thinly sliced cucumber.


Spread the bread slices with butter and then a very thin layer of marmalade. 
Top 4 slices with cheese and cucumber and then with the remaining bread.
