Turmeric and Ginger Milk

Turmeric and Ginger Milk, more commonly known as ‘Golden Milk, is an old Indian traditional tonic which has many health benefits that helps speed recovery from flu-like symptoms. It contains antibiotic properties to help combat infections, helps improve digestion, reduces inflammation and contains vitamin D.

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup of milk

• 1 tsp of turmeric

• 1 small piece of grated fresh ginger or 1/2 tsp of ginger powder

• 1/2 tsp of cinnamon powder

• 1 pinch of ground black pepper

• 1 tsp of honey

Boil the ingredients together in a pot on the stove for 10 minutes or heat the cup in the microwave for approximately 1 minute for a single serving.

Best enjoyed while it is hot.
