Most blogs or self-help books tell us what to do when entering into a new relationship, but what about the unspoken rules?

We're so inundated with tips and advice, that sometimes it's hard to separate the dos from the don'ts. Look, we don't claim to be experts when it comes to love, but there is such a thing as common sense.

So, for the sake of common sense, we've come up with advice you shouldn't use (ever) when just starting out with that someone special.

Don't label it

Everyone loves the thought of young love. But lets face it, at two weeks in, it's still fresh. So whether you're dating casually or just hanging out, it's just too soon to label what ever it is you have going on.

Don't say "I love you" just yet

You feel it in your bones. Hell, you know this is it. But don't go scaring your potential away with those three words just yet.

No passwords

It's one thing asking for the password to the wi-fi when going to their place for the first time. But it becomes kind of creepy if you insist on knowing the code to their smartphone or laptop.

Keep your distance on social media

We all know the deal when meeting someone for the first time - check out their social media accounts for any potential competition. But, don't go sending friend requests just yet. And stop liking all their IG posts.

Be cool

Last but not least - whatever you do - just be cool. Inside you're planning your wedding and even your future children's names, but never let him or her know this.
