A bit of blush adds a rosy healthy glow to any makeup look. Even when you’re having an off day or looking pale because you’re feeling well, a dab of blush perks up your skin and adds an instant glow. Here are 4 tips on how to apply blush.
1. It needs to look natural, like you’re blushing and not just a product applied simply for the sake of it. After all that IS why it’s called blusher.

2. Know where to apply blush. Next time you find yourself blushing or flushed after a workout, take note of where rosiness appears naturally. That is where you should be applying blush. If you are a blusher newbie then the best place to start is the apple of the cheeks. Even if you don’t apply it anywhere else, that will always do the trick.

3. It’s important to find a formula that works best for you. A cream blush is great for someone who prefers using their fingers. If you are more comfortable with brushes, then a power formula is for you. Liquid blush can be tricky, but used correctly it stains (not permanently of course) your skin giving it a more natural look.
4. Blend. Blend. Blend. This is a vital step. Once you’ve found the right place to apply the blush blend it into your skin. The last thing you want are two red dots on your cheeks and looking like a clown.
