London - South African model Candice Swanepoel had celebrity websites buzzing over her concave belly.
The Victoria’s Secret “angel” showed off her svelte stomach in a pre-show Instagram shot.
“Two days left till the #Vsfashionshow rrraaauuwwwr” the 24-year-old model tweeted. In her self-taken pic, she wears only low-riding sweatpants and a sports bra, drawing attention to her concave tummy and protruding hip bones.
In the picture, her hip bones are protruding, and she is sporting some serious abdominal muscles.
Comments on it ranged from appreciative – “You’re perfect…I wish I could be you” – to concerned: “Someone get this girl a sandwich.”
This isn’t the first time that Swanepoel’s figure has come under fire. She explained her weight to ABCNews.com last year, saying her “problem has been more putting the weight on and getting muscle on because it’s been really busy”.
“I get skinnier if I’m very busy,” she said. “I’ve been eating steak and everything, so I’m looking forward to some lighter food after this.”
She’s one of the hottest women to have been granted her wings – and she proved her worth in the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show this week.
Swanepoel was transformed into a butterfly as she wore her golden locks down in luscious curls. Wearing a lace underwear set, she had a large red bow in her hair and wore a pair of leather gloves. She blew a kiss to the audience as she teetered in a pair of platform heels.
For her final ensemble, Swanepoel brought flower power to the stage. With her customised wings covered with lavender petals, the blonde held her hands to her hips and owned the runway.
As Rihanna stood performing behind her, Swanepoel was truly in her element, a pair of green open-toe heels finishing off her flawless appearance.
Last year, Swanepoel sparked fears when she shocked with her alarmingly thin figure at a Victoria’s Secret event.
After the controversy, she appeared to gain some weight, but in the lead-up to the lingerie giant’s fashion show on Wednesday, the blonde stunner seemed to have shed even more of her already tiny frame. – Daily Mail
