London - Botox has been criticised for the frozen look it can cause, but the solution to softening frown lines in a more natural fashion could actually be freezing them.
Cryotechnology, which uses low temperatures and liquid nitrogen, can naturally disable nerves. Doctors are now trialling the procedure —which involves delivering a shot of intense cold to nerves that control the frown muscles through a small pen-like gadget that has a needle.
This temporarily damages the nerves and relaxes the muscles to get rid of your frown.
Unlike Botox, which has a delayed effect, Frotox works immediately and lasts for four months. It is expected to cost the same as Botox when launched later this year. - Daily Mail
